This very versatile strapless wedding dress was made for a bride who wanted to have the dress adaptable for different times of the day during her wedding.
The full dress was a sculptured opulent strapless wedding dress with a big ‘wow’ factor for her entrance.
The dress was made out of 100% silk zibeline with pearl beaded lace.
The 3 pieces consisted of a strapless fitted dress with a straight skirt, which kicked out in a small flare at the bottom. The bodice had lace detail from under the bust dropping down to the hips and finished with a belt at the waist, giving a ‘nipped in’ waist.
The strapless wedding dress has a corset laced back inside as the bride wanted the feeling achieved when corseted in but without the lace detail showing. The dress was fastened over with covered buttons and loops.
The second piece was a sleeveless lace, which fastens at the back using the buttons on the dress to fix it in place. This enabled a more modest neckline for the traditional service.
The third part is a cathedral train made in the zibeline, which is pleated into the waistband. This waistband is worn over the satin ribbon of the strapless wedding dress and represents a belt with a flower at one side.
The skirt is wrapped around the body leaving the centre panel of the straight strapless wedding dress visible. The top of the skirt has lace that follows the same line as the lace over the bottom of the bodice.
A strapless wedding dress with both visual impact and versatility. Particularly suitable for a wedding with different aspects or worn over two days if the service and reception are on different days.
