Set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside this wedding dress needed to compliment the surroundings as well as the bride. This second marriage wedding was a relaxed family affair and the bride wanted to feel comfortable in a soft lightweight dress that wants too closed in because of the heat yet not too exposing either.
She wanted some subtle beading and we managed to source some beautiful floral embroidered lace with small pearl and clear beads. The lace was soft and yet textured which gave the dress some definition. The bodice was fitted but not boned with the lace over matt satin base. The short sleeve softened the shoulders and were sheer showing the lace pattern over the skin. The back of the bodice had a deep v neck and was fastened with covered buttons and loops. The skirt was made of flared chiffon over a soft satin base and there was a large godet of lace set into the back skirt creating the beautiful train.
The dress was finished off at the waist with a grosgrain belt with a vintage style beaded motif in the centre.
This dress was beautifully romantic and soft with subtle beaded decoration that just gave texture and interest without overpowering the dress or the bride.
