This bride wanted the festival theme to run through to the whole of the wedding. It was a very relaxed and boho style based on the Glastonbury festivals. The dress needed to reflect this and she wanted it to be soft and floaty yet with a fitted long style bodice to compliment her figure.
The dress was made with a structured bodice reaching over the top of the hips. It was covered in a delicate all over pattern lace with the centre röntgen panel being sheer lace and creating a deep v front decollate panel but allowing modesty with nude tulle under the lace. The draped beaded lace draped over the shoulders to give a relaxed feel and showing off the brides tattoo on her shoulder.
Where the bodice meets the skirt there is crystal and pearl embellished lace edging covering the seam. The skirt has generous chiffon panels with the same soft delicate lace inserted as godets which creates a very full skirt width at the hem line. However as both fabrics in the skirt are very soft and drape beautifully it creates a streamlined silhouette whilst being able to waft about in the breeze! A veil was not required for this style of wedding but an extra long train gave a similar effect to the back of the skirt.
The completed dress complemented the festival feel of the wedding.
